Demosthenes' First Olynthiac down the hatch

It's gonna be a wild ride with this guy, of the 61 speeches some weren't by him, some were by Apollodorus if you can dig it.

In this he's begging for money for a war effort against Phillip of Macedon, yes, that was Alexander the Great's dad I think, correct me if I'm wrong, well Demosthenes wasn't in favor of all that and his efforts ultimately flopped.

I didn't read all the footnotes so as to achieve a fluid reading experience, those will be incorporated in subsequent readings.

What'll be next? I can hear all of you crying out in unison. Aeschylus is a contender, i'd love to gobble up his famous trilogy, which is the only connected ancient tragedy that survives, but that'll take at least 2 days if that's all I read, and I do like to jump around from thing to thing.

But I love this idea, the learning process will be much more do-able if I do little book reports for all I finish.

Any requests? It has to be ancient Greek or Roman, preferably the former, if I have it, I'll read it partially in thy honor, and thou shalt receive laurel wreaths upon thy brow when I find it to be just the thing I need.
