The Emperor of all Maladies 🦀

This was a really good book, very well written and easy to read. It's about the history of cancer and the stories behind finding a cure. I recommend it, not everyone will get cancer, but everyone does know someone that has it and the book lets you in on the horrors, pain, and personal strife of those that have gone or are going through it, past and present.

I have read Scientists have a vaccine that prevents *all forms of cancer*.

This is great news as I have lost several relatives to the scourge of cancer, most recently my aunt and older brother.

Interesting book concert

@bookerdana My dad, and a couple of my Uncles have it one died from it and the other one has been fighting it for a long time. All of them had different cancers so I don't think it's the hereditary reason they got cancer. Reading the book though is full of insights about Cancer and the different ideas behind the causes. One of the more interesting facts is that they used a from musterard gas in WWII to treat certain blood cancers.
