On how SW addiction will be controlled
There will be as usual, a default setting on my chromebook screen, that of SW, but i'll do things much less, as reading will be the default activity, all through the wake period.
I should reply more often to other posts than make my own, but this will take time.
re: Dostoevsky, i shall first read the good translations of the 4 biggies, then move chronologically with the public domain versions. He is the spotlight source for the time being, and will i believe be the subject of at least the next purchase or 2.
The Reading Mix is the name for my attempt to read most of the best stuff that i have and will have, if i have a strong desire to read something, nothing anyone will say can detour my course.
In the long run i wish to be more active here when i get more read and in my system. Letting it all become homogenized with all other received forms of data.
The news and all that sort of thing must be in shadow, and the things of the distant past be highlighted in stunning clarity, never losing sight of the mere wondrousness of how things were in banal terms in previous centuries.
