I Love Bookstores And Libraries

I love the smell of a used bookstore. And you never know what you'll find...

Leant one very sad thing from a shop selling books among other second-hand goods, and that is there are people who buy lovely old books merely to destroy them by amputating the illustrations to use merely as pretty pictures without meaning or context. And presumably throw the rest away.

The Taliban would be proud of them...

I understand their difficulty, but hope the shops can obtain books on request even if not physically stocked.
