Keller School District in Texas has pulled 41 books off their shelves for review, including the BIBLE and the illustrated Diary of Anne Frank:

Remaining on the shelves is Gender Queer, a sexually explicit book with illustrations of man boy love.

If the BIBLE flunks the review, it will no longer be possible to check it out of the library. It will become what is called a REFERENCE BOOK and will have to remain on library premises at all times.

Gender Queer is also being removed. All of the books being removed had been challenenged. A public committee last year recommended that some of the books not be removed, but the new school board, backed by a conservative Christian PAC, overrode the committee and are removing the books. See this article in the Texas Tribune for more info.

@ItsSteve The news story I heard this morning stated that it had not been removed. Glad to see it has been challenged.
