The word “terrific” used to be synonymous with “terrifying,” and I’m bringing back its original meaning

I can remember one of my teachers at primary school saying something like that, as kids back then we use to say terrific a lot, and he said something about it meaning terror or terrifying, it's funny how somethings stay in your memory

Oh my god, how horrific of you!
