Overused Words I hate Part 2

Gaslighting.
Getting sick of this one; apparently we are all gaslighting each other these days.

It's not even a good metaphor since it really means nothing to anyone anymore. Other metaphors like "up the creek without a paddle" gives some kind of idea what it means.

"Narrative" is super annoying
Thank god "dialogue" is becoming not as common. I think narrative replaced it.

"I will socialize this information to the other business units"

Why not just "I will tell"

You would think when people become adults we would not be prone to using fad words.

@JimboSaturn I haven't heard that one! Lol
My recently retired supervisor used to use the word "advise" over and over. "Let them know" would work just as well.
