Overused Words I hate Part 2

Gaslighting.
Getting sick of this one; apparently we are all gaslighting each other these days.

It's not even a good metaphor since it really means nothing to anyone anymore. Other metaphors like "up the creek without a paddle" gives some kind of idea what it means.

I think its official meaning is to bully someone by pretending things that are not true but on social media its now used for someone saying anything you don;t like.

@Burnley123 Yeah, it is a real and serious thing, so it is sad when misused. My ex used to use it improperly against me often, and it would hurt because it is a charge I take seriously.

I strongly suspect for a long time now that she has Borderline Personality Disorder.

Honestly, with the way she was, she may have even believed in her head the nonsense she accused me of sometimes. I don't know.

There is no real recovering of the relationship outside of a miracle at this point, IMO. She's not reading any of this, either.

I'm trying to get to the point where I can fully let go. So hating or resenting her won't help.
