Dune series, The Magicians trilogy, too many Stephen King books to list them all, all the Douglas Adams Hitchhiker books.

Gnomon, the Malazan series, Prince of Nothing, Neuropath, Blindsight, that kinda stuff. Those are all kinda... f*cked (SW gods please don't ban me I used the asterisk). Comfort books (series, really); Rivers of London, Imperial Radch, A Memoir of Lady Trent, The Extraordinary Adventures of the Athena Club, and other such works.

@Lugwho Not many people know Coming up for Air. I enjoyed it a lot too. I don't know Native Son. Who is the author? Can't go wrong with Dickens. 😀
Lugwho · 61-69, M
@FreddieUK I think I read most of Orwells books in my teens. This one has always stood out in my memory. Native Son is by Richard Wright.
