What books do you like to read?

I just finished reading The City Baker's Guide To Country Living which I thought I didn't want to finish, returned to the library, kept thinking about the story and characters and had to run back and finish it! Tonight I just finished reading Snow & Rose which is based on a little-known fairy tale called Snow White and Rose Red. Next, I'm going to read Wildwood by Colin Meloy. I think it is the first in a series. It's supposed to be like the Narnia books.

Re-reading "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens. After seeing so many different film versions, I like to go back to the source every so often.

@Fluffybull That’s such a good read. Read it out loud to my kid a few years ago. Though when I did that I had forgotten how Charlie Bates is frequently referred to as “Master Bates”. I did a little editing in my read aloud version. 😆
