I Absolutely Love Bookstores

I'm incredibly lucky to live close to Powell's City of Books (possibly the largest book store in the world). I remember when I was little one of my girl friends and I would go down about once a month and we would sell all our old books and buy "new" ones. You can spend all day in there and still not see everything they have. It's a book lover's dream come true. What has really been fun is taking my kids and watching them get just as excited. I don't know if I'll ever convert to digital reading. To me nothing is quite as exceptional as a the feel of a book in my hands.

Ha, yea thrift stores have the occasional good find too once you manage to sort through the huge heaping piles of garbage. "Oh......wow........how could anyone part ways with Tim Allen's 'Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man'??"
