I Love Books

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile
This day shall gentle his condition
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap, whilse any speaks
That fought with us upon St. Crispin's Day

Ah, so wonderful to trip over Shakespeare here on SW. Marvelous. It made my day.

I think Henry V is my favorite of the histories.

Have You ever seen Laurence Olivier's wartime film of Henry V, with music by William Walton, in technicolor? One of the cinema classics.

I have, although it was some time ago. I much prefer Kenneth Branaugh's though. His performance of this speech in particular actually gives me chills.
