Have you ever forced yourself to read a book?

I forced myself to read Frankenstein. However, I did enjoy the story, and I felt really bad for Dr. Frankenstein, but some parts of the story were a little boring for me.

Don Quixote. Here it's like the Bible. And yes, I thank my teacher for making me do it. I couldn't stop reading it. Such a rich lexical and ingenious way to say the things.

Regarding Frankenstein I also felt sad but mainly for the monster.

I feel bad for the monster, too, but I didn't think it was right for him to do what he did at the end (not going to spoil anything for those who haven't read Frankenstein).
