Have you ever forced yourself to read a book?

I forced myself to read Frankenstein. However, I did enjoy the story, and I felt really bad for Dr. Frankenstein, but some parts of the story were a little boring for me.

Yeah, many times actually, sometimes I've been surprised by the experience turning out better than I thought and other times it has just left me incredibly bored for hours on end. Thankfully a fast reader, so not [i]too[/i] many hours on end.

Being a fast reader has its ups and downs.
Reading fast can cause a good story to end quickly, but reading fast can cause a horrible story to end quickly.
