What's your favourite book?

Hi I am 15 and like to read mostly fantasy and horror. I would like to try something new please recommend any book :)

For fantasy, I'd recommend the Eragon series, and the Magyk series. I'm not much of a horror aficionado, however, so I run dry there.

I also recommend 1984, although it doesn't fit into either category.
