I had to stop reading Cujo because it’s so sad

Especially when they get to the passages from his perspective of contracting rabies, how he doesn’t understand why he’s becoming so angry and feels the need to attack people. It clearly expresses he was a good-natured dog who wouldn’t hurt a fly but was sadly afflicted with rabies. I already know what happens, but I had to put my Kindle down and couldn’t read the rest. 😞💔
