@GeretJan Well his ideas are obviously very dated and superseded by subsequent events, but this work is still a brilliant synthesis of modern European history, linking everything to the "dual revolution" (the British industrial revolution and the French political revolution).
@SunshineGirl I found that also. In that sort of overaching historical exposition Braudel stayed a lot more with me though.

I would love to visit a library again. I have read so many books n novels from Teens to adults. Derren Shan Vampire series, completed that 15 odd years ago. Gone Series by Michael Grant, literally the last book left to read.

Adult books, anything action packed like Lee Childs.
