I used to read Danielle Steel books. One of her books I started to read and it pretty quickly got really heartbreaking. The woman had cancer and was very sick from the treatment. As soon as she got diagnosed and sick her husband started pulling away, started being cruel, and started planning to leave her. I couldn't stop crying long enough to read more of it.
Another book I read was about a teenager who had become pregnant (at the time I was reading the book I was a pregnant teen). The boy she'd been having a beautiful teen romance with said it couldn't be his and cut off contact with her. After the baby was born she noticed the baby had a birth mark on its bottom and it was exactly like the birthmark the baby's dad had too. So somehow she was able to get him to come over. She was making small talk with him while she changed the baby's diaper and that was when he saw the birthmark on the baby and recognized that it was the same as his. It was in that moment he realized the baby was his child and accepted the baby and her into his life.
I threw that book across the room.
