Every time I pick up a book

-I enjoy it,
-put it down for two months,
-pick it back up and completely have forgotten where the story was going
-who are these people?

I should make a resolution again to read at least one chapter every night

You're simply not interested in the book enough to keep on reading it. It happens though.

If it's interesting, you make time to read it.

@DeWayfarer you're telling me what I don't find interesting?? I do this with everything
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@caPnAhab there are degrees of interest in everything. You just need to setup priorities though. 🤷🏻‍♂
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer that's basically what I said. Read at least a chapter every night.

@caPnAhab wrong tactic. Set the priority to read multiple chapters. Not a fixed amount either. Whatever the time will allow.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer No it's not. I'll do whatever I want
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@caPnAhab just trying to be helpful. And therefore it was just a suggestion.

@DeWayfarer You're telling me I'm wrong. There's no incorrect way of reading
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@caPnAhab do it however you want, yet don't say it's a problem then. 🤷🏻‍♂

That implies you want suggestions.

@DeWayfarer This definitely would apply to me. If I'm interested in the story, I find it hard to stop reading and focus on other things I need to do.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@CrazyMusicLover I find it the same way.

Everyone is different though.
