Every time I pick up a book

-I enjoy it,
-put it down for two months,
-pick it back up and completely have forgotten where the story was going
-who are these people?

I should make a resolution again to read at least one chapter every night

@DeWayfarer This definitely would apply to me. If I'm interested in the story, I find it hard to stop reading and focus on other things I need to do.

hrm. can't relate. although I've found it much easier to read often if I use an e-reader. a kindle works pretty well for me. at this point I've read at least a little every day for over 1200 days.

but what ever happened with your apartment adventure?

@dirge I've thought about a kindle, its a good idea. Personally I really like physical books

Thankfully I could get it resolved with no issue

I picked up a book after a long time of not reading anything and I just can't get into it. I keep telling myself that I just need to break through the boring beginning but I just can't focus on it.

Even if it takes me ages to read anything, it's the wonder that makes me push through.

@caPnAhab So far I wonder what might it be about at all. I didn't read synopsis, I just learned it's set during the opium wars and the main character is some big boss merchant. I don't know much about this part of history. 🙈

@greensnacks Everything is a side quest. If it's not a book, it's a movie, videogame, music, whatever.
