Kindle users, is it worth buying an actual Kindle or does the app do the job just as well?

I've used the app on a 7" tablet for several years but been considering treating myself to a real one.

I use the app. I had a kindle a long time ago and I wasn’t crazy about it. Now I read from my phone or computer.

The downside to the app is you can’t buy the book directly.

Kindle have that e-ink which is cool.
