Not so new

but new to me 🙂
Hit Goodwill for a few books, they had some new books at $10. Does anyone find that a bit steep?
On another note, do you like someone reading to you? I think it would be sublime.. especially poetry.

$10 a book, particularly for a new book, seems cheap to me.

@ChipmunkErnie maybe it’s because they are all paperbacks and same price on Amazon. I go to Goodwill for a good deal.

@LavidaRaq Ah, mass market paperbacks? That's pretty high for them, I'd think. Never been to a Goodwill, so I don't really know.

@ChipmunkErnie yes I think they’re too high priced. I mean Amazon will send them straight to my house for that amount.

@LavidaRaq I buy most of my current reading from AbeBooks.com, mostly used hardcovers.

@ChipmunkErnie I will check them out, thanks

@LavidaRaq It's a sort of clearing house for hundreds, maybe thousands of smaller book stores and dealers. LOTS of used books, plus new ones. Just type in a book or an author and find all kinds of prices, editions, etc.

@ChipmunkErnie oh nice! Thank you again
