Something to balance my aesthetic books

Just grabbed this for 3 dollars!! It's a biggie in the 20th century philosophical landscape, and I always recall Ethan Hawke reading it in the Grunge scene movie classic Singles. Notorious for being difficult reading, I am beginning to see that ignoring the footnotes can make it easier. If I can get through it, and that's a big if, then I just know there'd be other things to supplement it, for this is no beach read.

My mind did not work with Dante inferno. Had to reread and reread. If I read latin might have been allot easier. But a book in latin verse translated to English. Brain hurts thinking about it
