11/50 Bertolt Brecht
I paid something like $250 for all of this, and I've only read bits of the first and 2nd volumes. BB was a huge deal in the Theatre world. my first exposure to his name was listening to commentaries on arthouse cinema of the 60's films like Godard's Contempt and Antonioni's L'Avventura kept using the term Brechtian, which is a distancing technique, making you see the artificiality of the entertainment, making you think about things objectively instead of just being whisked away by the narrative like in Bond films and stuff like that. Oh and I had gotten before that a used battered copy of the Galileo play. His theatre theoretical material I passed on, but if my read through of what I have here goes well, I might have to get them!!
