Piers Anthony's world of Xanth and Final Fantasy. i never played final fantasy though i just always watched my brothers play and the movies.
@mooncrest02 I love Xanth! How did I forget about Xanth?
SimpleKiwiGirl · 51-55, F
@mooncrest02 my first taste of that wonderful universe was the book 'The Colour of Her Panties'. I went to read it, before being told there were more, and I should read them (in order) first.

I am glad I did. Still one of my favourite book series.

@SimpleKiwiGirl the book that sucked me in was Geis of the Gargoyle, im trying to buy the entire collection for my kids to read it too. :)

Here's a sort of obscure one: 'The Culture' novels by Ian Banks created a very cool universe. My favorite book was Excession; can be read stand-alone.

Discworld seems like a lot of fun as well.

Maeltopia, is an audiobook series on Spotify, really detailed and different. Probably one of my all time favorites.

Adventure Time
Over the garden wall
Dark Souls universes particularly Bloodborne or Elden Ring
Fallen London and the video game predecessor Sunless Seas
Fallout games universe, Fallout 4 since it has my favorite weapon, Pickmans Blade. I was attached and was literally the only weapon I used.

For book universes probably anything by Carlton Mellick III, one of my favorite authors
Sisyphean by Dempow Torishima
Anything Junji Ito.
Lord of the Rings and Song of Ice and Fire. They're just so detailed and consistent.

Oh I also forgot anything by Stanislaw Lem too.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
Harry Potter and Doctor Who come to mind
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
The TV series The Magicians
Ever since I found out they share a few things, I'd have to say the extended Star Wars / Doctor Who / Hitchhikers universe.
storykid · 31-35, M
@LordShadowfire What do they share?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@LordShadowfire Hitchhikers was great 😃
@storykid Doctor Who has mentions of Arthur Dent in 80s episodes, because Douglas Adams wrote several episodes, and there is a canon Star Wars comic in which a character celebrates her victory with a bottle of that ol' Janx Spirit.
