I would cry if someone ever gifted me books. Especially if being a book they know I’d probably like.

@deadteddy I try to achieve that from time to time with friends. Not everything works. I wouldnt be able to give you a book, but let me recommend one that absolutely blew me away earlier this year. The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis. Better not read to much about it. Its a fictional auto-biography, but also a crime novel. I was so hooked and in a long time, a book was able to actually scare me.
