Reading books may lead to critical independent thinking, something which is generally frowned upon, and rightfully so! You should watch Netflix TV shows instead. That will keep you busy, and you'll learn a lot about zombies and vampires.

I LOVE classics, especially 18th and 19th century, French, English, and Russian. Dickens is definitely one of my favorites- I'm on my way to owning his entire collection.

I've been a lifelong reader and lover of poetry. Those are tremendous choices. Rich and full of substance that move the soul.

I have all seventeen Dickens novels including Charles Dickens and the Street Children of London, all his works are great for research purposes and of course pure entertainment. But for you I would especially recommend The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. happy reading.

I took to reading at sixteen.

Have you read War and Peace! It is an amazingly romantic novel. Not a romance novel though.

Brilliant writers, all. I've read a lot of Cather over the past few years, and she has become a favorite.

I like true stories or books based on true events .
