How much would you pay for a book?
I know people need to make a living off them but ffs anything over $30 is ridiculous. I rather buy them used for a couple dollars.

I rarely buy new books. The prices are ridiculous. I can go to a library book sale and get any paperback for $1 and a hardback for $2. One time I paid $45 for an untouched set of À la recherche du temps perdu at a used bookstore. Probably the most I've spent outside of college textbooks.
