Is reading books good for you?

scalenemaia · 36-40, F
Of course it is. How do you get better at anything? Practising! Reading books helps you in so many ways you couldn't even imagine. I mean it shows you the difference in the usage of words like Practise (verb) and Practice (noun). Reading is one of the reasons I know the difference. (It also means I know it keeps the same form when used as a gerund.)
On a less intellectual level, if you cannot visualise what you read in novels etc then I can see why you may think reading may be no good. Some people are afflicted this way - I think it is a sign of limited imaginations.

Depends on the book. But in general books actually change the structure of your brain so after reading one you aren't the same person as you were before you read it.
It's good for me , I read a lot
