Stephen King strikes again

But he doesn't strike out.

Billy Summers, published this month, is way different from most of King's work. Only the merest touch of horror emerges in some vague references to the hedge animals at the Overlook Hotel from The Shining.

Of course, Billy's a paid assassin, which is arguably horror.

I recommend it.

I'm looking forward to reading it, when I can. Most of my favorite books of his have not had a lot of what I'd catagorize as horror in them, although there isn't much he's written that I've not enjoyed reading at all.
