Your favourite books or literature?

I like books that punch me in the gut and don't let up. The Jungle, Catch-22, Arrowsmith, The Road, Of Mice and Men, Frankenstein, Grapes of Wrath, Brave New World, Flowers for Algernon. They might be too dark and depressing for many, but it's that same gritty realism that really capture me.
