I'm not a big reader but i think the kite runner and Black Beauty were great books.. because?? Very generic as it sounds, but yeah because it taught me sacrifice and kindness and how life is usually very unfair to the kindest.

@21stwolf life can be unfair in general. But when trying to understand life and you see good decent people getting punished even though they are doing things right makes you wonder....

The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck.

It taught me to appreciate the good things in my life, appreciate where I am in the present moment, and never to be ashamed of poverty. It taught me a lot about the strength of the human spirit as well.
