Any interesting Novels about Dragons and their Riders people can suggest?

As I'm looking to take a break from Sci-fi for now (till the newest Expeditionary Force arrives on the 10-05-19) and I'm taking an interest in my favourite of all mythical creatures.

Have you tried Anne McCafferey's Dragonriders of Pern series. She's written other good fantasy series as well.
