other books from George Orwell you have read/recommend ?

apart from 1984 ? I read the road to wigan pier a long time ago and wish to read it again

@SW-User Hmmm, interesting profile... The sooner you read Candide, the sooner you might wake up. We are not in the best of all possible worlds. People can't be neatly divided into good and evil. And I would guess you have been hurt before; life requires you eventually put your hurt into perspective as the tiny thing it is. Thanks for your attention, I'll leave you alone now.

@SW-User Orwell's style is very dry and journalistic, with no interest in the poetic aesthetic.
