I cried at the end of John Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath, but that was back in 1970.

Kristin Lavransdotter by Sigrid Undset. It's actually a trilogy.
Oldsong2 · 31-35, F
Sounds really interesting book ... is it fiction ? @daydeeo
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Oldsong2 It is. A woman's life in medieval Norway. Fascinating. Won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928. I like historical fiction, and this just takes you back, completely immerses you in the culture. Extraordinary detail, yet it's a very human story.

I will look up for it .. thank you 🌹@daydeeo

Is it a novel ? @Thevy29
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
It is. Its also been made into a movie. I read the book first. It usually takes me a week or more to read a novel but this one I did in one day. I just couldn't put it down. @Oldsong2
