Have you ever met a real man?

NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
I already am one. I have a penis, so what else could I be?

Yes I have. My father and some of my brother's and a few others. It's hard to not seek a real man when you were surrounded by them.

Yes I have known several in my lifetime. Tough as nails gentle as a lamb.

@hippyjoe1955 One of the ones I met was an elderly gentleman. He was a pilot in the first world war and got shot down over no mans land landing his airplane upside down. he crawled out of the destroyed fighter and crawled throug the shell holes back to allied trenches. He was back in the air next morning with a new airplane. After the war he bought some mules and transtported goods between two mountain villages hundreds of miles apart carrying goods on the back of his mules. He did this year round. WWII broke out so he sold his mules and joined the air force again. They promoted him to wing commander and put him in charge of training new pilots. After the second war he went into business and became very wealthy. With a love for things bush he started a survival camp for boys. I met him when I was 19. I was a tough kid growing up on a farm and used to hard work. The old gent asked me and a friend to help him build a log wall using some long poles he had gathered. He casually walked over and picked up the heavy end of the first log and with a cheery "come on lads its not that heavy" urged us to pick up the other end. We could not believe how heavy it was. Our backs straining and knees buckling we staggered along behind him as he strolled over to the wall and gently placed his end down. We pretty much dropped our end to avoid pinching our fingers. We did this for the rest of the day. Finally the sun was over the yardarm and he invited us to a fish dinner (cooked over an an open camp fire) and a cold beer. The supper over and the second beer opened he turned to me asked me how old I thought he was. 65? I guessed. Nope I'm 85 he crowed. I couldn't believe it. My buddy and I had been out worked by an octogenarian.
Yes he smoked and drank and when they told him he had cancer he didn't quit either.

Ugh, I so dislike this connotation.
