Is it time to take the plunge and get my ears pierced? Looks like Superdrug is the cheapest way to get it done. Both ears and 4 mm Zircon studs are 23 GBP altogether. Anyone have any experience of getting ears pierced at Superdrug or Claires?

Just waiting for my nails to dry, first a layer of dark red, then a layer of clear with sparkly bits.

Then I really must go out. But it's chilly, only 9°C. Decisions, decisions. With the wind and the damp it's a bit cool for bare legs but I wanted to go barefoot (painted my toenails too). Perhaps I'll wear footless tights, if they haven't got too many ladders as well! And my new corduroy skirt for warmth!

I finally plucked up the courage to go into Superdrug to get my ears pierced only to find that they don't do it on Sundays.

Now I'm in the Ramsgate café. I hope the food is better than the service. It's not at all clear but you have to order at the counter. Then it's not made clear that you have to pay in advance.

Remembered to ask for the tea to be brought out only when the food was ready.

The food is actually quite reasonable, the beef is tasty and the vegetables are not over cooked.

And of course no WiFi.
Gold silver studs are better less body reaction

Weather no better and I can't find my footless tights anyway. So it's going to be the cord skirt, thick tights and a warm jacket.

Having a pint of Wylam Gold in the Kopper Keg. Quite nice.
