Liquid in my trash CAN not bag

So for the last month every time i change my trash there is grey cloudy liquid that smells like a dead animal. I've tried bleaching the can and changing the liner bag more often but same result. What the heck is going on? Help please!

My guess is it's liquid leaking out of food or containers .
Sometimes ....esp organic scraps like vegetables can turn to a gooey liquid when they decompose ...which runs to the bottom of your bag and can leak out into your trash can.

Could it be that ?

@OogieBoogie i thought about that but this time my can was only 1/4 full and i made sure to dispose of food in the disposal. There was like a pint of liquid that came out

A pint is a lot .

I honestly can't think of anything that makes that much liquid except a drink that hasn't been finished .

Sorry ....I'm stumped too.

@OogieBoogie thanks for trying. All the other times the trash was full so i thought the same thing. But this time?
