Time heals, although the deep scar it might leave will last for a very long time. I pray for your peace of mind and lifelong happiness. I cannot imagine what you went through but you have a friend in me.

This made my heart want to beat out of my chest. When you said, "But when the guy who played the father started yelling, I was catapulted to the past." reminded me of a reoccurring dream I had as a child. As my eye lids grew heavier, I would be launched into this dream where my dad was screaming in the background and this heavy rock was descending on me, and I would feel the weight getting heavier and heavier until I could no longer handle it. I seriously had this same dream every week. It was terrifying.

I can relate to these domestic problems so closely. I know you'll float on.
