Love has caused me more pain than anything in my life but it is something I still believe in

I’ve loved before. I had a certain, love loss, for all things long ago.
But I realized, Love can keep you together. When I reached a dark place long ago, it was love that kept me from falling off the edge. It wasn’t till later that I found out, the love I felt, was only one way. But still, it goes to show how much love means to a person. Even one sided love that isn’t true love.

If you take care of yourself and meet your daily needs you love yourself. There are people who are hurtful. It's okay to be guarded. Don't blame yourself.

I happen to agree with you... Self love, not the narcissistic kind, is required on so many levels... And if you can't love you, then others can find it hard..
