Dropping a bowling ball from a airplane?

15-20k ft up I drop a bowling ball from a airplane. What would happen if someone tried to catch it?

the terminal velocity of a 14-16lb bowling ball would be around 180-220mph

for all intensive purposes, it would be like trying to catch a cannonball at the terminal phase of it's parabolic trajectory

in other words, you'd be a smear on the ground...
