Why do people on Quora ask crazy questions like this?

Quora used to be a place of intelligent questions with answers mostly from people with a thorough knowledge of the topic.
However, it has disintegrated into just another social site.

It's vast, so you never get to see all of it.

It has an algorithm which serves up more of the same based on what questions you ask and which you click on or answer.

Alogorythms are written to provoke attention. The one that's writing questions like that is succeeding in attracting responses from a slew of simps because that's mainly what populates the site there.

Anonymity over online gives people a lot of courage to ask questions like this.


I don't know anyone that would ask such questions in real life.

Probably took too much acid and got too high on the pipe.

He could be suffering from psychosis or on drugs

Alcohol and cheap recreational drugs.
