Carrot Vs stick

Carrot is the reward and stick is the punishment. It’s referencing positive and negative reinforcement. It’s an old school method of making a donkey keep moving. The carrot was the reward to keep moving and the stick was the punishment. The tough stick is calling the reward carrot weak … because it doesn’t punish and the carrot is calling the stick psycho because it feels that rewards are a better way to foster permanent change then punishment.
