I Have Something to Say

I receive some pms with a simply "hello" or a "well, hello". I was thinking about why could it be? I came across that perhaps it's bc in my profile I wrote that I like meeting people from other countries and cultures.

I'm not gonna reply to a simple "hello". It tastes me bad bc I always reply to a message but I don't see any sense.

I guess I'm in the younger crowd. I just don't see the point in investing a lot of time into a single opening message since the majority of the time it would go ignored. Beyond that, if I'm sending a message to someone new, I know very little about them, so it's not like there's a lot to say to begin with.
