I don't think anyone is making fun of the fact that she went through a very traumatic experience that NOBODY should have to endure. It's the reposting that is causing the irritation.

I agree. It's one thing to say it once but to continue to post it again and again. Yeah that's a liitle much. 🙄

I think they are wanting attention or people to feel sorry for them. Or it could totally be a fake account. Whatever it is they are creating a bad situation for people who have been through it by either playing people or playing the sympathy card. I feel for someone who has been through it but you can't just inundate people with the same story over and over.

I know.. Rape is wrong but in some cases it could have been prevented. It annoys me too when people go on and on about "being raped" makes me wonder if they are fake or something.. Idk of I'm being cold/mean or indifferent.. I like to think I have genuine sympathy for genuine victims.. But some people seem more like they are bragging than expressing pain or what not.. And so I resent them..

Did I really just read that right? "Rape can be prevented"? So do you also believe that a woman out jogging in running pants was "asking for it" because they were tight? My disgust for the callousness of that comment is immeasurable. While there are certainly things women should do in the interest of safety, I assure you MrsGearHead4, rape isn't something you can safeguard against. The naivety of such a thought process is archaic.

Yeah you read me right.. And I don't say "they are asking for it" that's a predatory statement.. But in some cases people are just dumb.. And I stand by my statement.. I don't mean to diss all victims.. I'm sure some of them are just innocently nice people who were minding their own business.. But others I have no sympathy for.. Shrugs.. Neither will I have any sympathy for them..
