I Have Something to Say

45 degrees is not cute sandal weather.
Come on Chicago.
All I ask for is to teeter in the low 70's for a few weeks a year. That's it. Just give me 3 weeks of low 70's and I'll be a good girl. I promise! 馃檹馃徏馃檹馃徏馃檹馃徏

I admit, I love the grey & the rain but I wish it wasn't so cold one day & then humid the next. Wtf? [X

Do you know of any free places or fun activities for my boys out here besides the museums or zoos? I hate it here. but I also have never been around everywhere. I'm always told everything's either expensive or there's nowhere to go. & being that I don't drive, I have to take everyone's word for it.

@Cosreal: it can be expensive. The only true free activity is the Lincoln park zoo, but parking is anywhere between $19-$24

Millennium park and the bean, Buckingham fountain are among the free places to visit but when we go there we usually take a train downtown because parking is expensive.
I don't know how much the children's museum is but I'll let you know.

We took our kids to the shed earlier this month they loved it. We got the family pass, because as long as we visit one more time it'll pay for itself.

They have the touch the stingrays exhibit coming this may.
But a daily pass is lole $40pp

Some chicago libraries you can get city passes at.

Navy pier is free to visit but the shops are expensive, as well as the attractions I think might be $10pp (that was like 6yrs ago)
