I Have Something to Say

Body goals...
I remember when I looked at this post partum picture of myself 6 weeks after having my oldest and thinking "OMG I got so fat!"
Do you think you could guess my weight here?
My waist size was a 5 (natural waist.) and in this picture I think I was in a 7 at a Mid Rise waisted jean.
I remember looking at this picture and thinking on needing to lose weight.

Now I look at this picture and I want to slap myself in the face for thinking I was fat 🤦🏻‍♀️
Thick yes but not fat...
I'll post in the comments how much I actually weighed in this picture.

I'm 5'7" in this picture if that helps at all with guesses...

Weight at the time of this picture was 167! 😱😅😂
You know that I used to judge my body based on the weight on the scale.

But I was very athletic before I got pregnant with my son, an avid swimmer and soccer player. I ran and lifted weights often, walked to school and rode my bicycle from the North side of Chicago to Navy pier every weekend (round trip) so I had a lot of muscle.
Most of it on my lower body.
When I got pregnant with my son I had to stop all of that because I almost miscarried him due to a placental bleed. But I still had to walk every week to my apt.
I jumped right back into working out after having him. And yet at a size 7 I wasn't satisfied.
I couldn't appreciate the beautiful changes my body had just experienced.

Now I'm way heavier lol (I won't say, not as much muscle and a lot more fat) and I can appreciate the torture my body has endured.
I'm still standing. Tired and fatigued and sometimes weak and an emotional wreck, but I am still standing. 💪🏼🙌🏼

@Tristemuneca: I'm sure you still look fine, you just need to get back to working out :)
