I Have Something to Say

I return each day
to see the the brook spread ripples
skimming wide across the surface
of a lonely pool
The lonely pool gets deeper
I return and gaze
into the ripples.

Hopefully the ripples never end. A mark of life that sweeps across the lonely surface. Your gaze is met with a reflection of sun and sky and furry friends....a perfect setting.
