Let me make something very clear I haven't celebrated the 4th of July since I was a teen. Once I was old enough and wise enough to know that this day

has nothing to do with the freedom of my ancestors or anyone that looks like me I immediately stop celebrating. You will never hear me say happy Fourth of July because it does not represent anything for me. And with that said happy 15 days after Juneteenth!

I mean, you do live here. And Juneteenth wouldn't have happened without July 4, although slavery ended in the Britis Empire in 1833, so if the US had still been a colony, it would have ended here 31 years earlier and without a war.
