My inclination....

Is to do what needs to be done and I believe that requires more than peaceful protest.

It requires the opposite of peaceful.

I feel a little crazy when every answer I have for stopping the current trajectory is violent opposition in the form of anarchy.

Do people understand this in the way that I do?

It doesn't seem so.

It seems a lot of people think we will stop this with death by a thousand judgements ....
Or with peaceful protest.....

While people in Minnesota are having their lives shattered and being gassed and kidnapped and killed in the streets.

Do YOU KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MINNESOTA? BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO GRASP THE DEPTH.

I am tired of screaming at the void.

I know this thought isn't practical but it comes to mind so often that I just have to say it.

Perhaps the only solution to the tribal differences in the US is partition a la India 1947. Perhaps all the Democrats should migrate to California, New England, etc. and the Republicans to the south.

Edit: I'm well aware that it was far from painless in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh and that the ill effects are still present.

@ninalanyon I would be all for this.

If they want to live with themselves and destroy themselves I am all for it.

But I feel we would be in conflict always and forever with our terribly disturbed neighbors. It is a thought I often have as well.

I had ideas about what blue states should be doing ...but we aren't doing those things.

Like refusing to send taxes, as one example. If they wont fund us we wont fund them. Blue states fund the red states anyway. So we have a lot of power there. We are not using it fully. I don't understand why! I am so frustrated.

Yes, just like India and Pakistan, two nuclear powers forever bickering over Kashmir.
